Designs for Health was founded in 1989 by nutritionist Linda Lizotte, R.D, CDN and Jonathan Lizotte, company CFO. Designs for Health originally was composed of a team of nutritionists who focused exclusively on providing nutrition counseling services for the treatment of a variety of health conditions. The logical expansion of individual counseling success was the creation of an advanced nutrition training program for practitioners who desired to integrate nutrition into their traditional practices. Finally, DFH developed their extensive supplement line to service their growing client base.
